The Mini-Model toilet soap plant is fully equipped with

PLODDER : The extrusion Machine or Plodder is a crucial
piece of equipment in the entire Soap Unit. It plays a
major role and give a final shape in bar form to any
soap mass. The ribbon like mass passes through the load
thrust carrier plodding the mass compactly giving it
high quality fineness. The Thrust load carrier extrudes
the mass in bar form. Distinctive design of die is
provided with the mouth piece of extrusion barrel to
achieve a particular size of bar and then it can cut
into the convenient size of cakes. The extrusion machine
is arranged with suitable heating & cooling arrangements.

Besides these simplex plodders, which have a single worm
local carrier), others with twin worms are also available.
For high T.F.M. toilet soaps, the two stage (duplex)

This modern Mixer is carefully designed to produce
uniform texture of Soap chips with colour and perfume
Mixing action is obtained by the specially shaped "Z"
blades set on parallel shafts mounted with close
clearence in a double 'U' shaped trough. With the help of
blades the mass is rolled and folded back and pushed
down to join the separate layers. This action is repeated
until desired uniformity is obtained. The tilting
arrangement in small unit is through manual operation
and in larger units this is further incorporated with
gear box and motor to be operated by Electric Control.

Each soap paste duly mixed with colour and perfume
requires a close grinding of mixed mass to bring fineness
and homogeneity. The action of grinding or calendering of
the mass is done by means of passing through the close gap
of rolls to form ribbon like shape. It is done for good
texture and odour of toilet soap and detergent cakes.
Rolls are kept cool during operation as per cooling
arrangement already provided in the machine and water
circulates in the rolls accordingly to avoid stickiness
of mass with the rolls and to bring a uniformity with a
sophisticated fineness in the mass. Tri-roll mills are
fabricated in mild steel with special alloy chilled
rolls.

This machine is mounted at the mouth of the plodder and operates without power and is driven by the forced travel of the extruded bar from the plodder. The machine has two stainless steel guide rings mounted with suitable cutting knives to cut the soap bar into required lengths. The speed and output can be synchronised with the plodder discharge capacity. |

This machine is designed to perform on the revolving die box principle and with the double stamping achieved through a toggle action, which enhances the finish & stamping quality of the soap cakes. Outputs vary from 100 cakes/min to 140 cakes/min depending on the type of soap being stamped. It is possible to stamp half-bars also at a rate of 40 bars/min to 70 bars/min. The machine is available in both the right angled feed and parallel feed, configurations. The machine can be used to produce banded cakes with a minimum side band of 5 mm and total thickness of upto 50 mm. The drive is a 5 HP Geared Motor of 155 rpm. |

This machine is designed to perform on the revolving die box principle and with the double stamping achieved through a toggle action, which improves the quality and finish of the stamped soap cake. Outputs vary from 80 cakes/min to 120 cakes/min depending on type and size of cake. It is an ideal machine for stamping soap cakes upto 50 gms using the duplex die box.It can also be used for soaps upto 100 gms using the simplex die box. It can stamp cakes with a minimum band width of 4 mm. The feed in the machine is through a magazine feed box and discharge is onto a continuous conveyor. The drive is 3 HP Geared Motor of around 150 rpm. |
